What does NerdWear mean by an “Expression”?

An Expression is the intellectual idea carried by a NerdWear product: an equation, formula, constant, symbol, phrase, slogan, gaming reference, or other compact piece of meaning. We use the word because “design” is too broad. The Expression is the thing you recognize.

Why launch with hats?

Hats are unusually good at carrying compact ideas. A formula, phrase, or symbol can be recognizable from across a room without turning the entire product into a billboard. NerdWear is starting with headwear because it is the right surface for the kind of concise recognition the brand is built around.

Is the hat shown on an Expression page the only version available?

No. The three product views on each Expression page are representative examples. NerdWear is built around a wider range of hat colors, profiles, washes, and styles. Use the Hat Styles & Colors page to see the breadth, then check the Shopify store for the current combinations and availability.

Do NerdWear colors exactly match universities or teams?

Not necessarily. A broad color range makes it easier to find combinations that feel familiar to a school, alma mater, department, organization, team, or personal palette, but NerdWear does not claim official or exact institutional color matching unless explicitly stated.

Where do I actually buy something?

Every SHOP button on NerdWear.net goes to the same place: shop.nerdwear.net. The Shopify storefront handles current products, variants, filtering, pricing, checkout, and availability.

Where are shipping, returns, and purchase policies?

Those transaction-specific policies live at the Shopify store because that is where purchases are made. NerdWear.net is the brand and editorial side of the business.

What is coming after hats?

Drinkware is the next major product category being developed. Other possibilities include apparel, stickers, desk or office items, and additional accessories. The What's Next page shows previews and future directions without promising a fixed release date.

What are NerdWear Alerts?

NerdWear Alerts is the opt-in email list for new Expressions, hat styles and colors, upcoming product lines, and occasional brand news. The signup is handled through Brevo, and marketing emails include an unsubscribe option.

How do I contact NerdWear?

For launch, the public contact point is @NerdWearUSA on X. We are intentionally not publishing a general email address or a contact form until we have a contact workflow we actually want to maintain.
